Bonnie Sherman Weber
Bonnie Sherman Weber assumed the role of Park President of Six Flags Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor on August 24, 2010. Weber, formerly Director of Worldwide Marketing at Warner Bros., began her career at Six Flags and has been with the company for over 30 years at various park levels.
From food service and publicity, to promotions and marketing, Weber’s Six Flags years have spanned a variety of departments and job responsibilities. Weber’s Six Flags career began in 1985 at Six Flags Magic Mountain as a food service employee. Throughout the years, she has assumed the role of Park Publicist, Manger of Advertising and Promotions and Director of Marketing, all with Six Flags. She briefly held positions with the Disney Company and Warner Bros. as Director of Worldwide Marketing for Consumer Products.
After serving in her Warner Bros. role for four years, Weber returned to Six Flags as its eighth Park President in 2010.
Since her appointment to Park President of Six Flags Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor, Weber has managed many of the largest and most innovative capital investments in Six Flags Theme Parks’ recent history, turning the Valencia theme park into the undisputed “Thrill Capital of the World,” with the addition of new thrill attractions and WOW zones. Weber has also overseen the re-branding of DC Universe, Full Throttle Zone, Screampunk District, and Six Flags Plaza. Under Weber’s respected leadership, Six Flags Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor continue to achieve tremendous success in guest satisfaction, team development and financial growth.
As a cornerstone in the community, Weber makes sure Six Flags plays a prominent role in key community causes with highlights including Boys and Girls Club fundraising events, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank food drive, LA County Sheriffs Foundation, Emergency Service organizations and many more. She also serves on numerous community and industry boards, including the California Attractions and Parks Association (CAPA), Santa Clarita Valley Boys and Girls Club, and IAAPA Branding and Strategic Planning committees.
A Southern California native, Weber graduated from California State Northridge with a Marketing degree.
